    About the role:

    Come and join our TRD Particle Characterization Specialty Team Austria. Together with our colleagues from commercial manufacturing we are setting up a state-of-the-art team for creation of test sets for visual inspection, enabling high quality standard of our products - for our patients! Our team is dedicated to advancing the precision and reliability of visual inspection methods, ensuring that every product meets the stringent quality requirements necessary to provide safe and effective solutions for patient care.

    About the Role

    Key responsibilities:

    • Development and creation of trainings and qualifications test sets for visual inspection (surrogate development, compounding, particle seeding, & physical defects) and respective documentation.
    • Actively supports project execution to ensure timelines and quality are met.
    • Communicate issues to teams and line management and propose corrective actions.
    • Understand resource constraints and identify cost saving opportunities.
    • Show positive work ethics and influences others.
    • Propose ideas for continuous process improvement in area of expertise as a member of a team and follow up on implementation.
    • Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt -Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable).
    • Ensure compliance of activities with quality standards (DQP), safety standards (HSE) and other Novartis standards.

    Essential requirements:

    • Self motivated, open and curious mindset.
    • Good communication and presentation skills - proficiency in oral and written English.
    • BSc. in relevant field or comparable industry experience in pharmaceutical development.
    • Basic experience in handling of particles or similar material of small size (µm to mm) desirable.
    • Basic experience in optical or digital light microscopy desirable.
    • Basic experience in compounding of drug product or similar solutions desirable.
    • Basic technical & scientific knowledge of pharmaceutical development, analytical sciences, or equivalent desirable.

    In addition to a market-competitive base salary, we offer an attractive incentive program, a modern company pension scheme, childcare facilities, learning and development opportunities as well as worldwide career possibilities within the Novartis group. In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is € 43.548,40year (on a full-time basis). The actual salary will be significantly higher, as we strive to maintain a competitive position in the market and consider your previous experience, qualifications and individual competencies.
